ACT Background and Training |
| Danielle has completed six years of university training and two year supervised practice as part of her Masters training specialising in Clinical Psychology.She currently works in full time private practice having previously practiced in government and non-government settings in psychology and counselling roles.
She first became interested in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy after attending introductory and advanced practioner workshops by Dr Russell Harris. Since then she has attended workshops on ACT and mindfulnness by trainers such as John Forsyth, as well as developing an extensive library of ACT clinician materials in order to enhance her application of ACT across the broad range of issues clients will bring to therapy. She participated in Clinical Psychologist Mitch Hart's ACT supervision/interest group for two semesters in 2010.
