Please note: The Library is undergoing renovations, so the main entrance on Shakespeare Place (opposite the botanical gardens) will be closed. Please use the smaller entrance on Macquarie Street, and then follow the signage to the Dixson room. (It is a bit tricky to find; I've written directions below, and you can download a map here.)
Directions to the Dixson room
1. Enter the Library via the Macquarie street entrance (opposite Hunter street).
2. Take the stairs or the lift to the Lower Ground Floor and walk along the Dalgety Walkway to the Mitchell wing of the Library.
3. Proceed up the stairs and turn right into the corridor leading to the Dixson room
Workshops will run from 9am to 5pm on day 1, and from 9am to 4pm on day 2.
The closest train stations are Martin Place and St James. Circular Quay is only a short walk away.
The Sydney Explorer bus stops outside the Library on Macquarie Street.
The nearest parking station is Sydney Hospital, located on Hospital Road.
