ACT Background and Training
|
| I was first introduced to the ACT model at the Northside Clinic where I worked for four years with several other ACT therapists with ACT based supervision from early 2004 There I ran groups and treated inpatients and outpatients individually incorporating ACT among other models. Karen Walser trained me in a two day workshop in 2005 and in 2007, Stephen Hayes trained me further in a workshop at the world CBT conference.
In September 2009, I completed a two day advanced workshop with Dr Russ Harris. In 2010 I completed the two day skills building workshop. |
