ACT Background and Training
|
| I have done numerous workshops with ACT experts such as Russ Harris, Kirk Strosahl, and Kelly Wilson. I have watched and watched the Steve Hayes Act in Action DVD series and have read everything i can get my hands on. I am involved in the training and supervision of budding ACT therapists and love introducing them to this wonderful model. |

| I am a specialist clinical psychologist and am registered with Medicare Australia meaning that clients can access Medicare rebates for my services if they are referred by a GP with a mental health treatment plan or by a psychiatrist or paediatrician. I have special interest in helping couples to improve their relationships, in working with adolescents and in helping people struggling with the effects of complex trauma (such as child abuse, family violence or neglect). |
